Danny Wills, hailing from Byron Bay, New South Wales Australia, has a style that has been claimed
as the most technically perfect on tour. With an extremely low centre of gravity, the 5’6” natural-footer is capable of carving beautiful
lines in even the most average conditions.
Known as the family man of the tour, "Willsy" can often be found at events in the company of his beautiful wife Kirstie and their
two children Jayden and Symone. A Foster's ASP Men's World Tour veteran of 10 years, Willsy's forehand assault on the pointbreaks
of the Gold Coast and Jeffrey’s Bay will be the one to watch in 2007 and if he can regain the confidence that saw him within a
stone's throw of claiming the crown back in 1998 he will be a serious challenger. 2007 has seen Dan attain 9th at Snapper Rocks, Bells and Chile, 17th at Tahiti and 5th at J Bay resulting in him now being
ranked #8 on the WCT and a serious contender for the world title. Last year he scored the supertube of the contest in
Mexico which is testament to how fast his boards go and how well they hold in. Dan has scored many of the higher wave
and heat scores of the tour this year. Michael has recently made him 6 new boards and Willsy is frothing as he reckons
they are the best boards he has ever had. New improved foam results in his boards not denting as much but still being
super light and responsive.
In addition to surfing, Willsy is an avid "rev head" or lover of fast cars and a keen skateboarder.
