Danny Wills HOT ROD Model
About Danny Wills Hot Rod
The Hot Rod is an extremely high performance surfboard.
The Hot Rod features:
- Shallow single concave
- Low/high plaining rails
- Constant curve in the outline, providing exceptional maneuverability
- In addition, the MC signature fins are designed to perfect this board further.
The Hot Rod performs and delivers in various conditions. Its design has established the perfect balance between doing carving, driving turns and sharp, tight snaps.
Willsy's first board was one MC shaped for him when he was 3 years old. I was riding MC's boards that Willsy's talent was nurtured, honing what has been recognised as the most technically perfect style on tour. It was this that saw his ten year career on the WCT. After thousands and thousands of surfboards from countless shapers, now after teaming up on the last four years on tour, Willsy and MC have created a surfboard that can only be described as perfection.
Not only is this board the exact same design as Willsy's own, but was made to cater for beginners to professionals.
This board is one of the most fine tuned surfboards on the planet. Look no further.
About Tail Shape
| Egg Tail |
Suits everyone. Very easy to surf, smooth, nice and loose. |
| Square Tail |
Most common with heavier surfers. Little easier to break your rail line for shaper turns. |
